There are 2 djs- 1 in the front, 1 in the back- I felt like once the first Dj left in the back room - the 2nd Dj of the night played the same music the first one did lol. Drinks were about $16-18 (don w lemonade) and 20% gratuity is added on all checks. Overall we had fun and would be back. Nice spot for after hours. They usually have rsvp w free entry for the ladies online and parking up the block/ surrounding area
The Manager Jeff made sure our big group of 10 people had a great night. He was very accommodating and kind. We were able to celebrate my cousin’s doctoral degree accomplishment at Icon and had an amazing time. Would come back! And man, shoutout to Jeff!!! Thank you so much!
I'm sorry but this night time experience was lackluster. Great music as far as it gets, but other than that the staff were unattended only offering the the best they could. I'm came here more than once and it's still the same vibes as the first. No dancing, drinksare still expensive and no one person dancing at 12am. Yeah safe your the money and go else where. I'm sorry, even with song request it just wasn't enough. Don't get me wrong the music and staff were great but still...
Icon Bar & Lounge just quietly became one of the best spots in Lincoln Park… and if you haven’t been since the redesign, you’re honestly behind. The new look is 🔥 — way more upscale, way better energy, and the whole place just feels alive the second you walk in. It’s the kind of spot where you plan to stop by for one drink and end up staying all night. What really makes it though is the staff. Everyone is on point, the service is fast, and the vibe they bring is unmatched. Shoutout to Lexi (bottle server) — elite experience. Super attentive, great energy, and made us feel VIP all night. Chicago nightlife needed this. 10/10, will definitely be back.
