I love the down to earth energy of this place. Awesome Vibes and Drinks. Shout out to Justin for recommending some good options.
Stopped into Lone Wolf after work for drinks and ended up staying way longer than planned. Got a couple old fashioneds, the burger, and their loaded tots. Spot has that old Chicago tavern feel without being pretentious at all. Bartenders were cool, music was solid, and the crowd was a good mix of neighborhood regulars and people out for the night. Lowkey one of my favorite bars now.
Marlon is the best employee at this bar! He is so kind and cares about your well being. The drinks are amazing and so is the service. Hands down come here when Marlon is working!!
Yall. If you are out in West Loop this place is a must. It is absolutely my favorite last stop or even a midway stop if you need a quick snackie before going back out. Get the tamales. The bartenders seem surly but they are all the actual best. The Wolf never disappoints.
We ended up here on a whim when the wait next door was too long, and I’m so glad we did. The vibe feels like a step above a dive bar, laid-back but elevated, and the house cocktail menu is phenomenal. These are creative, well-balanced drinks you’d never find at a true dive. I had the Cactus Blossom and the Thyme Bandit, both savory, refreshing, and memorable. We liked it so much we came back again after dinner.
