Even with how crowded it was on Saturday, we were seated right away. The atmosphere is lively but still intimate enough for conversation. We really enjoyed our drinks and the relaxed feel of the room. A wonderful evening out.
This venue has a great vibe! Tasty libations with projected classic footage on a stage curtain. Burlesque shows multiple times per night. Lots of classic knick knack decour in the entry area.
The highlight of our visit to Chicago! This place is instantly one of our favorite speakeasies we've ever been to. The drinks on the tarot cards were perfectly made by Alex who was extremely nice even when informing us that we reached our time limit. We caught 3 of the shows and all the performers were amazing. This is a place you don't want to miss out on when in Chicago. Be kind and don't take videos or pictures with flash. It keeps the atmosphere perfect when everyone follows the rules.
Authentic speakeasy bar. The cool thing is that this is a real speakeasy that was discovered in 2014 when they renovated the bar. Not so many cocktails on the menu, but they have most of the liquor,so you can ask them to mix something else. Only thing to complain about was the sound level from the music. Too loud for a speakeasy place.
Just as fun as I remember from the last time I went before Covid. We got on a wait list, were told 90 minutes, and we're called in an hour. The drinks were very good and the bartenders were amazing. We sat at the bar and were able to get drinks super quickly.
